Alterations
Our Full In House Alteration Service is available with all Bridal Gowns & Bridesmaids/Prom dresses purchased at Gowns & Garters. We have a very competitve rate and you are only charged for the time spent working on the garment all fittings are FREE they are part of our service to you. If you buy both your Bridal Gown & your Bridesmiads Dresses from us you will be able to benefit from reduced rates on your Bridal Alterations. Our Alteration Service is also available to Brides who have not purchased their gown from us, all we ask is that you give us as much time as possible to carry out the work required as we always give priority to Brides that have purchased from us. We also offer a General Alteration Service including taking up hems and general repairs and alterations.

Bridal Net Hire
Many of our Bridal Gowns benefit from the use of Bridal Nets which can make them easier to wear and also for fuller gowns help keep the shape of the skirt. Bridal Nets are available to buy new (prices vary depending on style/size of net) or to Hire at a rate of £25. A deposit is required against all hired items but this is refunded back to you upon safe return of the hired item. Our nets are available in Ivory or White to compliment different Colour Gowns, & in various sizes including fishtail, medium, large & extra large. Bridal Net Hire is available to Brides that have already purchased their gown elsewhere at the same rate as above.

Once you have enjoyed your wedding day you may want to bring your gown back in to us to be Dry Cleaned and Boxed. We use a proffesional Dry Cleaners. This service is offered at a very competitve rate. When your gown is returned to us you can either pick it back up in its protective gown cover or we also offer beautiful Handmade Bridal Gown Storage Boxes. The boxes are made to order from alkaline free materials in a choice of sizes, colours and designs, they are the perfect way to store your precious Gown. We will carefully box your Bridal Gown for you and call you when it is ready to be picked up. This service is available to all, so even if you did not purchase your Bridal Gown from Gowns & Garters you are more than welcome to bring your Gown into us for either or both of these services.
